Eric Sweeney

Eric Sweeney, Founder / President 

As Founder and President, Sweeney is responsible for everything that Veribooks does or fails to do. A former owner/principle of several franchises and small business ventures, Sweeney has worked in the SMB segment for over 20 years. He is an active alumnus of multiple small business organizations including Vistage, Entrepreneur Organization and The Strategic Coach. Sweeney is driven by the desire to level the playing field for small business by arming fellow business owners with the tools, skills and the confidence to succeed.

Originally from upstate New York where he attended the State University of NY at Oswego , Eric now resides in Atlanta along with his wife and three sons.

John Tolbert

John Tolbert, Partner

Tolbert works with partner Eric Sweeney on the firm’s strategy, financing and marketing functions. Tolbert also oversees the partnership’s revenue generation initiatives. Tolbert’s first franchise experience was as sales manager for a shipping franchise where he grew the business to over $1M in revenue during the first year.  At the age of 27, he purchased his first franchise and grew the business to over $2M in less than 18 months. In 2006 he joined Sweeney to launch a merchant services business where they successfully acquired over 3,000 clients through affiliates and associations. Notably, Tolbert worked with franchisors and associations by introducing and implementing strategies to drive revenue to their members and franchisees.

Tolbert attended the University of Georgia and has his MBA from Georgia State University . John resides in Atlanta with his wife and their two children.

Dan Henning

Daniel C. Henning, Accounting Advisor / CPA / PFS / CFP

Along with his duties at Veribooks, Henning also serves as a partner in the tax accounting practice of Atkinson, Henning & Associates, P.C. In this position he frequently lectures on financial and retirement planning strategies for transitioning executives and employees. Henning began his accounting career in 1991 and has developed a specialization in financial and tax planning for small business owners and “high net worth” individuals.
Henning’s resume includes a brief stint with the New England Patriots and the International Football league as well as starting at quarterback for the University of Maryland . Dan graduated from San Diego State University and resides in Atlanta with his wife and two daughters.

Connie DiCicco

Connie DiCicco, Director of Client Services

After receiving her Master of Fine Art Degree from Florida State University (go ‘Noles!!), Connie became a small business owner returning to her native Atlanta to form a video production company. In 2007 she joined John and Eric as the manager of one of their franchise locations. When Veribooks was launched in 2008 she leaped at the chance to build a company from the ground up. A Veribooks client favorite, Connie has been helping small business owners ever since. “If it it’s possible to get it done, she will find the way.”
Connie is a Georgia native and graduated from The University of Georgia (go Dawgs!!) Her favorite restaurant is Dairy Queen.

Heather Harris

Heather Harris, Manager/ QuickBooks Services

Heather Harris is a graduate from Wheaton College with continued graduate education at the University of Wisconsin . Prior to joining Veribooks, She spent five years in public accounting specializing in audit, tax and monthly compilation work for fortune 1,000 clients in addition to working in the private sector with both tax and audit.
Heather finds working with small business especially gratifying: “It’s been rewarding to see the impact accounting can have as a small business management tool in addition to its traditional big business compliance role.”
